Operation: Winchester is a project that aims to introduce "Supernatural" to the hard-working troops overseas by sending them the Season 1 DVD sets, along with care packages that include a few of the comforts of home. In the process, we put some much-needed quality entertainment in the hands of a lot of deserving people, and help spread the word about "Supernatural."

Twenty-two years ago, something evil killed Sam and Dean Winchester's mother, and life as they knew it came to an end. Their grieving father, John, a former Marine, was determined to hunt down the thing that took his wife. He set out to learn everything he could about the supernatural beings that torment and kill people across the country, and to destroy as many as possible. His boys learned early in life how to hunt the supernatural -- while other kids their age were at soccer practice, Dean and Sam were becoming experts with various weapons and hand-to-hand combat. Dean embraced the life enthusiastically, but eventually, Sam rebelled against it and left for college against John's wishes. For years, he had no contact with his father or Dean.
Now, Dean has come to ask Sam for help -- their father has mysteriously disappeared, and Dean needs Sam to help find him. Driving Dean's 1967 Chevy Impala, the brothers head off on their quest -- find their father, and save the remnants of their family.
Season 3 of 'Supernatural' begins in September 2007, Thursdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
